If you're looking for a trusted day care centre for a loved one, Hickling House can help. Based at Hilton Village Hall, we welcome clients from across Derby and South Derbyshire and Staffordshire — whether they're living with dementia, Alzheimer's, or Parkinson's, or simply feeling lonely or isolated and would value some company during the day.

Every day here is about safety and companionship. We've been part of this community for over 30 years, and we know it's often the small, personal touches that matter most.

Our team is fully trained and DBS-checked, with real experience supporting clients living with dementia, Alzheimer's, and Parkinson's. We help wherever it's needed — from personal care to staying active — while making sure every client keeps as much independence as they're able to. Structured activities, gentle exercise, and time in our garden are all part of a normal day, alongside a two-course home-cooked lunch and refreshments throughout. All allergen and dietary requirements are catered for.
